My request is in relation to information regarding potential changes in the treatment of Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) applications for spouses since Minister Sean Fraser's announcement on May 26 2023, regarding the easing of visitor visa requirements. I kindly request access to any notifications, instructions, memos, or communication issued by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to its Case Processing Officers (CPOs) since May 26, 2023 or earlier. Specifically, I am seeking information that pertains to any guidelines or directions that may have been given to CPOs regarding the processing of TRV applications for spouses of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Furthermore, my request specifically includes any information related to: 1. Changes in processing timelines for TRV applications for spouses, following Minister Sean Fraser's announcement on easing tourist visa requirements. 2. Special considerations or adjustments in the evaluation and decision-making process for TRV applications for spouses under the Family Reunification initiative mentioned in the announcement.
