In October 2020, StatsCan engaged in a consultation with Federal, Provincial, NGO, and police departments/organizations to better understand the nature of their information gathering systems as it related to the collection of data in human trafficking in Canada. StatsCan sent out 16 questionnaires; 13 were completed by 6 federal partners, 7 provincial partners. StatsCan also received two completed questionnaires by police services and one NGO that were forwarded by provincial contacts. Please provide all responses from this questionnaire by any agency that have been submitted to StatsCan. Also, please provide all final drafts of any internal briefings, notes, and or comments related to the consultation and questionnaire.

WHEREAS citing page numbers is essential to direct quoting and paraphrasing in academic and legal writing AND WHEREAS academic and legal writing include page numbers with quotes and paraphrases that readers use to locate sources in academic and legal writing AND WHEREAS people with print disabilities may require HTML-based reading material for various reasons (e.g., needing reflow; change font style; compatibility with screen readers) AND WHEREAS to not have page numbers in HTML would disadvantage these disabled people AND WHEREAS it is possible to insert into HTML brief notes indicating page numbers (e.g., ) that would remove the disadvantage AND WHEREAS in 20-page report this would amounts to adding 160 characters to the HTML document THEREFORE PLEASE PROVIDE documents containing objective evidence that Stats Canada has ever determined that inserting page number notes into the HTML (e.g., ) that mirror PDF reports rises to the level of undue hardship.
