To support the Air Quality Impact Assessment, we are currently collecting background information pertaining to the study area of the proposed GO Station. At this time, we are formally contacting VIA Rail Canada to request the following information, if available: train schedules (current and projected); engine specifications to be used on Lakeshore West Corridor (tier level of engines now and before electrification occurs ); size of trains (number of passenger card, length and width); regulated engine speed (in/out station) for trains passing by (required for trains travelling in both directions along the tracks) and Head End Power (HEP) Unit Expected Usage and level of operation expected (Winter/Summer).
