Req # A-2021-38090

Request: Of the 30,000 individuals who qualified as essential non-health care workers under the April 2021 permanent residence announcement, what were the total number of Seasonal Agricultural Program Workers (SAWP) and/or Ag-Stream workers admitted by National Occupational Classification (NOC) category and by Country of Origin? I kindly ask that this data set be sent in its workable excel format(s), rather than as a single/static PDF. Prior History: On July 19, 2021, I submitted ATIP file number 2A-2021-45611 asking for information on the total number of SAWP/Ag-Stream Workers admitted as part of the 30,000 essential non-health care workers announced in April 2021. I requested a report that broke down the total number of SAWP/Ag-Stream workers admitted by NOC category and by Country of Origin. I received a dataset; however, because IRCC was still processing the vast majority of applications, that data set was incomplete. The original PDF is too large to attach as a reference document here, but if viewing it would help process this ATIP I would be happy to send it via email at your request. Background: In April 2021, the IRCC announced 90,000 permanent residence applications of which 30,000 were for essential non-health care related occupations. On July 16, 2021, the 30,000 cap for essential non-health care related occupations was met.
