Seeking statistics for the number of work permits processed as per "Special measure: Longer period of work for holders of open work permits under the temporary resident to permanent resident pathway"? original Starting on August 2, 2022, IRCC declared a Special measure: Longer period of work for holders of open work permits under the temporary resident to permanent resident pathway for individuals with following conditions. Starting on August 2, 2022, in most cases, we'll email to tell you that you are eligible for a longer period of work on your current work permit if you meet both following conditions: your open work permit under this public policy will expire on or before December 31, 2022, your passport is valid until at least December 31, 2024 This will allow you to work until December 31, 2024. This special measure will ensure that you can continue to work while we process your permanent residence application. I like to know how many work permits were sent out, and how many work permits were not sent out. and what were the parameters used to send or not to send the work permit as per the public policy? Attached is the pdf copy of public policy's web page.
