Amended - I am asking for access to briefing notes, policies, reports, plans, emails, etc. in regards to the IRCC's processing of citizenship files that are more than 5 years old and are still open in inventory. Since we are in 2022, this should include files that were received before 2017, including the single citizenship file that Scarborough office seems to have in inventory since January 1991, Types of information sought are, but not limited to: 1- The reasons that these files are delayed and didn't have a decision made on time 2- The reasons that these files are still open and not closed because of abandonment, or other administrative reasons 3- The last time these files were accessed and what work was done on them 4- How regularly these files are worked on 5- What is the expected timeframe to close these files 6- What does the IRCC plan to do on citizenship files by keeping them open for 5+ yearsOrganization: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
