Requesting a copy of the red zone criteria for first applications, subsequent first application, departmental reviews, reassessments and early reassessments. Previously it used to be age 75 and single, or age 80 and married, palliative, or frail health. There were changes and the 75 and single was removed. Requesting the document, whether it is a internal business process, or a procedure, or protocol that states the criteria that must be met in order to have an application (first application, subsequent first application, departmental review, reassessment or early reassessment) red zoned. The correct term is red zone, meaning the application is processed as a high priority. Also requesting the internal business process, or procedure, or protocol that states what the turn around time is for a red zone, what determines the start date and what determines the red zone due date. As well, if there are any exceptions to these rules.
