I am really looking for instructions, guidance, manuals, or advice that was issued to CIC employees after March 1, 2020 regarding how Access To Information requests are processed. I am not seeking status reports or descriptions of how the work is done. So in that sense, I am looking for records that may discuss both the administration of the Act and the `discharge of its responsibilities under the Act. By `discharge of responsibilities', I mean 'how is the department fulfilling it responsibilities, for example, to respond to requests for records in a timely fashion. That's the short answer. Here's the long answer: Sometime after March 1, the federal government went into "pandemic" mode. Parliament was suspended and many government departments substantially changed their operations as many employees were told to work from home. Through this request, I am seeking to learn what operational changes occurred (or did not occur) within the CIC so far as the Access-to-Information function occurs. Per my request, I suggested these instructions, guidance or advice may be in the form of memos, briefings notes, manuals or memos. The recipient may have been alerted to the subject or ‘chief topic’ of these records by the title of the document or, if they were distributed via e-mail, by the subject line of the e-mail. These records may have originated at Treasury Board for distribution to employees at the CIC. These records may also have originated with senior managers at CIC and been distributed by the department. Some modifications to my request: 1: I seek only records that exist in electronic or digital form. 2: I do not seek routine e-mail traffic between and among CIC employees. So the ¿etc.¿ in my original request does NOT refer to that kind of routine e-mail traff
