Under the Federal-Provincial Bilateral Agreements guiding the implementation of the National Housing Strategy, provinces are required to "report on the use of CMHC Funding and Cost-Matched Funding". As part of these agreements, Provinces/Territories must submit regular progress reports which is to include the "Number of new projects and large repair and renewal projects that are projected to achieve P/T objective for energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions "I am requesting that CMHC provide me with any documentation between CMHC and each province (BC, Saskatchewan) relating to 2021 and 2022 progress reports outlining their PT objectives for energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions new projects and for repaired/renewed units (separately). This includes any agreements declaring those objectives, any progress reports on meeting those stated objectives, as well as any agreements confirming the negotiated reduction ranges as outcomes of the following negotiations:- under item #3.E. in the NHS bilateral agreements("Number of new projects and large repair and renewal projects that are projected to achieve PT objective for energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions") footnotes #10 and #13#10 - Relative to baseline for Projects. Relevant reduction range to be negotiated bilaterally. #14 - Relative to minimum requirements in energy code and reduction range to be negotiated bilaterally.
