1. All letters from the OCI to CSC regarding conditions at regional treatment centres and on mental health and therapeutic units, as well as responses to those letters, from 2015 to the present; 2. All letters from the OCI to CSC following visits to and/or regarding conditions at Kent Institution, as well as responses to those letters, from 2015 to the present; 3. All letters from the OCI to the Commissioner of Corrections from 2015 to the present regarding systemic concerns and/or policy issues; and 4. The information provided to the OCI by CSC regarding therapeutic units, as mentioned in the OCI’s 2018-2019 annual report. Clarification received October 4, 2020 - Re #1, we are interested in all conditions that would influence the therapeutic environment – so that could include staff conduct/culture, lockdowns and movement routines, availability of programs or activities, cleanliness, crisis intervention and uses of force, etc. It could include physical conditions if there is a relationship to the therapeutic environment. Re #2, yes, we are interested in responses from CSC.
