For ease of reference, I have enclosed a copy of the memo. In the second paragraph, the memo states: “a subsequent review of this question has been conducted at the national level, in concert with the Correctional Investigators office”. The “question” is the strip-searching of offenders leaving the institution. I request a copy of all documents related to this review of the question of strip-searching offenders when leaving an institution, as referenced in this memo. The timeframe for this request is between January 1, 2000 and December 29, 2004.
