In particular, the following information: - lists of units (eg., RCN ships, army regiments/corps, RCAF squadrons, etc) which qualified as a whole for the Pacific Star, because of particular service, along with the qualifying dates of such service; - lists of specific military operations or campaigns, participation in which qualified a service-person for the Pacific Star, along with the corresponding qualifying dates; - the formal boundaries demarking the geographic limits within which sea, land or air service qualified a service-person for the Pacific Star, along with the qualifying dates for each; - in particular, a clear explanation of the eastern-most limit of sea service in the Pacific Ocean which would have qualified a service-person for the Pacific Star; (eg., 180 deg longitude; or three miles off of the West Coast of North and South America; or service west of a line projected due south from the eastern most point of the Hawaiian Islands, etc); - any changes, amendments, clarifications or other modifications to the qualifying criteria (for sea, land or air service) for the Pacific Star, which were put in place after the original qualifying criteria were promulgated (ie., after 1946). Req # A-2021-048

For each of the 60 federal government departments, agencies, ministries or other sections with the most total employees, I am seeking the percentage of employees that declare their first language as being French. So, for example, I want to know what percentage of Treasury Board employees declare French as their first language, what percentage of the Department of Defense employees declare French as their first language, what percentage of Global Affairs Canada employees declare French as their first language, etc. I want this information please for each year from 2010 to today inclusively. I am requesting this information for each of the government departments that are among the top 60 in terms of number of total employees, including RCMP, Canada Revenue Agency, and CSIS. I also want the percentage for the overall federal public service. So out of the approximately 300,000 federal government employees (this is the most recent approximate number I found), how many declare their first language as French and what percentage of the total does this represent.
