Irrefutable evidence and supporting documentation that procedure and surgical mask-use by healthy individuals in public establishments is justified being a preventative intervention for SARS-CoV-2 when the MPPS filtration capacity, as per the manufacturer and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) standards, are too large to stop a virus particulate from penetrating the mask. Health Canada does not do their own testing of mask safety and efficacy and relies on NIOSH standards. Irrefutable evidence and supporting documentation that mask-wearing by healthy individuals does not cause substantial adverse psychological and physiological effects from prolonged and extended use.
