Req # A-2019-12258

I am submitting an ATIP request for the Canadian Industries Limited (CIL) records that are currently listed under Ban No. 2017-00316-6. The Ban No. 2017-00316-6 states that LAC has 95.5m of materials from CIL. It is unclear if this is in addition to or part of the 34.38m that are currently available through the Canadian Industries Limited fonds (R15655-0-3-E). I have been looking through R15655-0-3-E and have found that it is based primarily on the 1950s to 2000s time periods. This is odd, considering how busy CIL and its subsidiary Defence Industries Limited were during the Second World War. This record group should have more sources from the 1940s - especially about specific sites. I want to know what information is in Ban No. 2017-00316-6, especially the information that relates to: - the 1940s, Second World War munitions procurement - Defence Industries Limited - the environment, contamination - worker safety, health hazards - decontamination, environmental remediation - Any files and records about the Pickering Plant - Any files and records about the Nobel Plant - Any files and records about the de Salaberry Plant - Any files and records about the Transcona Plant - Any files and records about the Cherrier Plant - Any files and records about the Bouchard Plant Thank You

I am seeking records held by the Custodian of Enemy Property on the following Japanese in Canada: Toyozo Matsumyama. He is mentioned on registration cards #2354 and #2355 (Reel #C-9301). On these cards it is mentioned that his internee personal file was #220. That is particularly what I am looking for. He has certainly been dead for more than 25 years.
