Completed Access to Information Requests

Transitional Period

Federal departments are moving their web content to Canada.ca. As a part of that process, proactive disclosure reports will become available through the Open Government portal.  During this transition, if a proactive disclosure report from a specific department is not yet available on the Open Government portal please refer to Proactive disclosure by department or agency where a copy can be found.  For any questions on this issue, please contact us at open-ouvert@tbs-sct.gc.ca .

Req # A-2018-00073

1. The Agency issued Order No. 1991 R 466, and in the preamble and particulars the Agency’s file was identified: “National Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) File No. R 8050/102 010.60”. I request a copy of that file, please. 2. The said Agency Order No. 1991 R 466 referred to a Plan on this file, which is described as dated “February 17, 1961” [sic] - although this may be a typographical error on the Agency’s current online display of this order and may be a plan dated the year of the Order, 1991. I request a copy of this Plan. 3. For clarity: I do not seek any restricted personal information of William Szwed; the applicant William Szwed referred to in Order No. 1991 R 466 is believed to be deceased; and his interest in the lands in question on each side of the CPR track & right of way were conveyed by transmission of interests per Land Titles registration 2006-11-20 to “Olga Sampara and Estate of William Szwed” and thereafter on 2009-09-11 by this representative to new owner Kathryn Marie Clower. Accordingly there is no apparent requirement for delay for consultation with the named “William Szwed” or his estate’s representative. 4. Disclosure of the file is requested as soon as possible to facilitate ongoing discussions being assisted by the Agency under current file 18 00832
