On May 28th, 2021, a request was made to the Minister to designate the Canso Spaceport Project for an impact assessment under the Impact Assessment Act. This request was sent to both the Minister and the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. A response letter to this request was issued on November 2, 2021. I am requesting final versions of all records - including all electronic communications, emails and correspondence; all documents like briefing notes, reports, summaries, meeting/call records and notes, recommendations, and any other relevant documentation - pertaining to this request during the period between May 28th, 2021 and November 2, 2021. Specifically, I am looking for all records related to the designation request for Canso Spaceport, held by the Minister, and any and all employees of the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (formerly the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency) or other government departments, including recommendations made to the Minister about the designation request".
