Terrestrial Ecozones of Canada

Terrestrial Ecozones of Canada The “Terrestrial Ecozones of Canada” dataset provides representations of ecozones. An ecozone is the top level of the four levels of ecosystems that the National Ecological Framework for Canada defines. The framework divides Canada into 15 terrestrial ecozones that define its ecological mosaic on a sub-continental scale. Ecozones represent an area of the earth’s surface as large and very generalized ecological units. These units are characterized by interactive and adjusting abiotic and biotic factors. 2023-02-23 Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada infocansis@AGR.GC.CA Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyTerrestrial ecosystemsEcologyEcosystems Data Product Specification (English)PDF https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/supportdocument_documentdesupport/en/ISO_19131_National_Ecological_Framework_for_Canada_Data_Product_Specification.pdf Data Product Specification (French)PDF https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/supportdocument_documentdesupport/fr/Cadre_ecologique_national_pour_le_Canada_ISO_19131.pdf Pre-packaged FGDB filesFGDB/GDB https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/data_donnees/fgdb/ez/nef_ca_ter_ecozone_v2_2.gdb.zip Pre-packaged GeoJSON filesGEOJSON https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/data_donnees/geoJSON/ez/nef_ca_ter_ecozone_v2_2.geojson Terrestrial Ecozones of CanadaESRI REST https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/rest/services/mapservices/aafc_national_ecological_framework_of_canada/MapServer/40 Terrestrial Ecozones of CanadaESRI REST https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/rest/services/servicesdecarte/aac_cadre_ecologique_national_pour_le_canada/MapServer/40 National Ecological Framework for Canada (English)HTML https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/nef/ National Ecological Framework for Canada (French)HTML https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/cen
