Review of the Directory of protected natural environments that contribute to biodiversity The Plan of Land Use and Development of the Agglomération de Montréal indicates a target aimed at increasing the protected land area to 10%. This objective is reiterated in the 2020-2030 Climate Plan and the Nature and Sports Plan as part of the Montréal 2030 strategic plan.
