British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks

British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks The marks left in the seabed by the commercial anchoring process can be seen as linear features in high-resolution multibeam bathymetry data. These features have been digitized to polylines for individual marks and polygons for anchor scour zones for British Columbia's (BC) commercial anchorages. They are made available via the Federal Geospatial Platform (FGP) for use in a Geographical Information System (GIS). This feature dataset is complete for published BC commercial anchorages and the multibeam bathymetry data available in 2021. It does not represent features produced since the collection of each multibeam bathymetry survey nor any features infilled since. The data are intended to be used for scientific research to better understand the cumulative impacts to the seabed from commercial anchoring at a 1:5000 scale or greater. 2023-02-15 Natural Resources Canada nrcan.gsc-geosciencedata-donneesgeoscience-cgc.rncan@canada.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyCoastal and Marine Geologyseafloor topographymarine coastGeomorphology British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - EnglishESRI REST https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/rest/services/NRCan/anchorage_scours_en/MapServer British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - FrenchESRI REST https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/rest/services/NRCan/anchorage_scours_fr/MapServer British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - zones - EnglishWMS https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/services/NRCan/anchorage_scours_en/MapServer/WMSServer?SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.3.0&REQUEST=GetCapabilities British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - zones - FrenchWMS https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/services/NRCan/anchorage_scours_fr/MapServer/WMSServer?SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.3.0&REQUEST=GetCapabilities British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - FrenchFGDB/GDB https://ftp.cartes.canada.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/Geology_Geologie/anchorage_downloads/ British Columbia Coastal Anchor Marks - EnglishFGDB/GDB https://ftp.maps.canada.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/Geology_Geologie/anchorage_downloads/
