Trapper harvests
This data breaks down provincially-licensed trapper harvest numbers by: * species or species group * licence year Harvest numbers represent furbearers taken under the authority of a trapping licence. Trapping licences are valid from September 1 of the year that the licence was issued (licence year) to August 31 of the following year. We regularly update this dataset to make sure it is accurate and as up-to-date as possible. Some 2018-2021 harvests were adjusted when we updated and republished the dataset to include the 2022 harvests on February 22, 2024.
