Greenhouse gas emissions – Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities, Canada

Greenhouse gas emissions – Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities, Canada The Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program provides data and information to track Canada's performance on key environmental sustainability issues. The Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities indicator reports total emissions of large greenhouse gas emitters in Canada for the year 2017. The Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program ensures that greenhouse gas emissions from Canada's largest emitters are measured and reported. This mandatory reporting contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of climate change and energy policies and strategies in Canada. Greenhouse gas emissions data reported through the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program are used, where appropriate, to confirm the reasonableness of estimates of greenhouse gas emissions in Canada in the National Inventory Report. Information is provided to Canadians in a number of formats including: static and interactive maps, charts and graphs, HTML and CSV data tables and downloadable reports. See the supplementary documentation for the data sources and details on how the data were collected and how the indicator was calculated. 2022-02-22 Environment and Climate Change Canada Nathalie.Trudeau@canada.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentSociety and CultureScience and TechnologyAirPollution and WasteFacilityObservation/MeasurementAssess Toxicity; Manage and Monitor for Environmental Presence of Hazardous Substances and WasteMonitor / Assess Substance and Waste Levels in Air; Water; Soil; BiotaNational (CA)Greenhouse gasesEnvironmental indicators Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – EnglishHTML https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/environmental-indicators/greenhouse-gas-emissions/large-facilities.html Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – FrenchHTML https://www.canada.ca/fr/environnement-changement-climatique/services/indicateurs-environnementaux/emissions-gaz-effet-serre/installations-envergure.html Data sources and methods – EnglishHTML https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/environmental-indicators/greenhouse-gas-emissions/large-facilities.html#DSM Data sources and methods – FrenchHTML https://www.canada.ca/fr/environnement-changement-climatique/services/indicateurs-environnementaux/emissions-gaz-effet-serre/installations-envergure.html#DSM Interactive indicator map – EnglishHTML https://indicators-map.canada.ca/App/CESI_ICDE?keys=AirEmissions_GHG&GoCTemplateCulture=en-CA Interactive indicator map – FrenchHTML https://carte-indicateurs.canada.ca/App/CESI_ICDE?keys=AirEmissions_GHG&GoCTemplateCulture=fr-CA Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – RESTESRI REST https://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/CESI/MapServer/10 Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – RESTESRI REST https://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/ICDE/MapServer/10 Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – WMSWMS https://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/services/CESI/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=29&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html Greenhouse gas emissions from large facilities – WMSWMS https://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/services/ICDE/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=29&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html Google Earth – English (KMZ; 123 kB)KMZ https://indicators-map.canada.ca/KMZs/en/Greenhouse%20gas%20emissions%20from%20large%20facilities.kmz Data table – English (CSV; 770 kB)CSV https://indicators-map.canada.ca/CSVs/en/Greenhouse%20gas%20emissions%20from%20large%20facilities.csv Google Earth – French (KMZ, 126 kB)KMZ https://indicators-map.canada.ca/KMZs/fr/Emissions%20de%20gaz%20a%20effet%20de%20serre%20des%20installations%20denvergure.kmz Data table – French (CSV; 829 kB)CSV https://indicators-map.canada.ca/CSVs/fr/Émissions%20de%20gaz%20à%20effet%20de%20serre%20des%20installations%20denvergure.csv
