BIGMAC87 refraction; 3 refraction profiles; seismic refraction In 1987 the Geological Survey of Canada undertook a major regional seismic refraction survey in the Mackenzie Delta and surrounding area in order to complement existing data with information on the velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle.
