2011 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) Results
The Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) is led by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat), in collaboration with Statistics Canada. The survey, which has been conducted every three years since 1999, measures federal public servants’ opinions in relation to employee engagement, leadership, the workforce and the workplace.
The 2011 Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) was conducted from August 29 to October 7, 2011. The public service–wide response rate was 72.2 per cent.
Only questions repeated in the 2011 survey are included in the 2008 PSES data files. 2008 question numbers have been modified to correspond to the 2011 question numbers.
