High School to Post-Secondary Transition Rate by Post-Secondary Service Region Post-Secondary Transition Rate (4 year) is the percentage of students in the grade 10 cohort who have entered a post-secondary-level program at an Alberta post-secondary institution or registered in an Alberta apprenticeship program within four years of entering grade 10, adjusted for attrition.
