Mammal Occupancy - Yoho

Mammal Occupancy - Yoho Motion-detection cameras are a cost-effective and non-invasive tool used in Yoho National Park for sampling mammal populations and estimating species occurrence. Occupancy modelling, which uses detection/non-detection data from cameras, provides a useful and flexible framework for population trend analyses. Data are collected throughout the year across Yoho National Park to determine change in the distribution of key animal populations as well as supporting demographic predictions to better inform management. 2024-04-14 Parks Canada Jesse.Whittington@pc.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentYoho National Parkmotion-detection camerascamera trapmammal populationspecies Mammal Occupancy - YohoCSV https://open.canada.ca/data/dataset/6fb83322-8558-4f88-a438-a3d940777371/resource/7830dd46-31b9-4014-b7fd-190c172abcfd/download/ynp-camera-open-data.csv Mammal Occupancy - Yoho - data dictionaryCSV https://open.canada.ca/data/dataset/6fb83322-8558-4f88-a438-a3d940777371/resource/fdc3d65a-9f38-428d-918f-ba8b196dce12/download/yoho_np_forest_mammal_occurence_2010-2020_data-dictionary.csv
