Canadian Seasonal to Inter-annual Prediction System Seasonal Forecasts

Canadian Seasonal to Inter-annual Prediction System Seasonal Forecasts The Canadian Seasonal to Inter-annual Prediction System (CanSIPS) carries out physics calculations to arrive at probabilistic predictions of atmospheric elements from the beginning of a month out to up to 12 months into the future, resulting in seasonal forecasts. Atmospheric elements include temperature, precipitation, wind speed and direction and others. This product contains raw numerical results of these calculations. Geographical coverage is global. Data is available on a grid at a horizontal resolution of 2.5 degrees and 1 degree and for a few selected vertical levels. In addition, forecast probabilities for below, near, and above normal temperature and precipitation are available at both resolutions. Predictions and corresponding hindcast are made available monthly. 2024-04-10 Environment and Climate Change Canada ECWeather-Meteo@ec.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyProbabilistic predictionsAtmosphereInternationalWeather and ClimateWeather forecastsAir temperatureSnowMeteorological dataWindPrecipitationProvide Weather Information Products and ServicesDeliver Weather Products and Services to ClientsMeteorological Service of CanadaWeather and Environmental OperationsUnclassified Climate Data Extraction ToolHTML https://changements-climatiques.canada.ca/donnees-climatiques/#/previsions-saisonnieres Climate Data Extraction ToolHTML https://climate-change.canada.ca/climate-data/#/seasonal-forecasts MSC DatamartGRIB2 https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/ensemble/cansips/grib2/ MSC DatamartGRIB2 https://dd.weather.gc.ca/ensemble/cansips/grib2/ MSC Datamart AMQPGRIB2 amqps://dd.meteo.gc.ca/ensemble.cansips.grib2.# MSC Datamart AMQPGRIB2 amqps://dd.weather.gc.ca/ensemble.cansips.grib2.# User guide for seasonal forecastsHTML https://climate-scenarios.canada.ca/?page=seasonal-forecast-guide User guide for seasonal forecastsHTML https://scenarios-climatiques.canada.ca/index.php?page=seasonal-forecast-guide Probability of temperature above normal - Month 0-2 [%]WMS https://geo.weather.gc.ca/geomet?lang=en&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities&layers=CanSIPS_100km_AirTemp-ProbAboveNormal-2m_P00M-P02M Probability of temperature above normal - Month 0-2 [%]WMS https://geo.meteo.gc.ca/geomet?lang=fr&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities&layers=CanSIPS_100km_AirTemp-ProbAboveNormal-2m_P00M-P02M MSC Open Data documentationHTML https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_cansips/readme_cansips_en/ MSC Open Data documentationHTML https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_cansips/readme_cansips_fr/ Canadian climate data and scenariosHTML https://climate-scenarios.canada.ca/index.php?page=seasonal-forecasts Canadian climate data and scenariosHTML https://scenarios-climatiques.canada.ca/index.php?page=seasonal-forecasts
