Built Boundary for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2006

Built Boundary for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2006 The built boundary identifies built-up urban areas across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. It is a fixed line that reflects what was built and on the ground when the Growth Plan came into effect in June 2006. The boundaries are an important implementation and monitoring tool for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The built boundary will allow the province and others to measure intensification and redevelopment within the built-up area, and also allow us to monitor suburban development outside the built-up area. The built boundary was released in its final form on April 2, 2008, along with the methodology used to create it. This product requires the use of GIS software. *[GIS]: geographic information system 2024-10-08 Government of Ontario Economics and IndustryHousing Communities and Social SupportInfrastructure and TransportationEnvironment and energyGovernment information Access Built Boundary for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden HorseshoeHTML https://geohub.lio.gov.on.ca/datasets/built-boundary-for-the-growth-plan-for-the-greater-golden-horseshoe-2006 Metadata recordHTML https://www.ontario.ca/page/growth-planning-ontario/?option=com_content&task=view&id=66&Itemid=15 Accéder à la page Limites de construction pour la région élargie du Golden Horseshoe.HTML https://geohub-fr.lio.gov.on.ca/datasets/limites-de-construction-pour-la-r%C3%A9gion-%C3%A9largie-du-golden-horseshoe Registre de métadonnéesHTML https://www.ontario.ca/fr/page/planification-de-la-croissance-en-ontario?option=com_content&task=view&id=66&Itemid=15 Built Boundary for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2006 (extracted from geohub)ZIP https://ws.gisetl.lrc.gov.on.ca/fmedatadownload/Packages/GGH_BuiltBoundary.zip
