Hourly Concentrations of AQHI Constituents, Other Selected Trace Gases, and PM1 and PM10 - Sable Island Nova Scotia (2017 - Present)

Hourly Concentrations of AQHI Constituents, Other Selected Trace Gases, and PM1 and PM10 - Sable Island Nova Scotia (2017 - Present) Hourly values of AQHI (Air Quality Health Index) constituents (O3, NO2, PM2.5), other selected trace gases (SO2, H2S), and PM1 and PM10 mass concentrations collected at the Sable Island Upper Air Station, Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Data is available from January 2017, and is updated at least annually. Supplemental Information Lower Detection Limits (LDL) 0.4 ppbv for NOx, SO2, H2S, 1 ppbv for O3, 0.1 ugm-3 for PM (particulate matter). Error estimates: +/- 10% and +/- 0.2 ppbv for NOx, SO2, H2S (except +/-20% NOx January 2017); +/- 10% and +/- 1.0 ppbv for O3; +/- 3% for PM2.5 (from manufacturer). Weak negative gas concentration values (-0.4 ppbv and above) set to zero, below invalidated, except NO2; NO2 is a calculated value. 12 hours invalidated after instrument work, audits and calibrations, major power failures (>= 8hrs), 2 hours after minor power failures (<8 hrs). Zero and span drift corrected by linear addition over period between calibrations, but only if drift was in excess of criteria listed next, otherwise accounted for in error estimate. Instrument re-zeroed/re-calibrated if drift in excess of zero +/-|LDL|, or span +/-5% span Instruments may be re-zeroed/re-calibrated if drift less than above. Instrumentation: T-API T100(SO2), T101(H2S), T200(NOx), TEI 49i(O3), Grimm Aerosol 180B(PM2.5) and 180MC(PM1, 2.5, 10). Calibration: T-API T700 Calibrator (with calibrated ozone generator, T-API 701H Zero Air source, NOx, CO span gas from NAPS (National Atmospheric Pollution Surveillance network, ECCC), NIST traceable 10 ppm standards for SO2 and H2S, Grimms calibrated by Grimm Aerosol Canada. 2019-11-08 Environment and Climate Change Canada open-ouvert@tbs-sct.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentAQHINOxSO2PM2.5PMO3Air qualityClimatologymeteorologyatmosphereEnvironmentAir - Quality SableIsTraceGasAndPM2017-IleSableGazTracesEtPM2017.csvCSV http://data.ec.gc.ca/data/air/monitor/hourly-concentrations-of-aqhi-constituents-other-selected-trace-gases-and-pm1-and-pm10-sable-island-nova-scotia-2017-present/SableIsTraceGasAndPM2017-IleSableGazTracesEtPM2017.csv View ECCC Data Mart (English)HTML http://data.ec.gc.ca/data/air/monitor/hourly-concentrations-of-aqhi-constituents-other-selected-trace-gases-and-pm1-and-pm10-sable-island-nova-scotia-2017-present View ECCC Data Mart (French)HTML http://data.ec.gc.ca/data/air/monitor/hourly-concentrations-of-aqhi-constituents-other-selected-trace-gases-and-pm1-and-pm10-sable-island-nova-scotia-2017-present?lang=fr SableIsTraceGasAndPM2018-IleSableGazTracesEtPM2018.csvCSV http://data.ec.gc.ca/data/air/monitor/hourly-concentrations-of-aqhi-constituents-other-selected-trace-gases-and-pm1-and-pm10-sable-island-nova-scotia-2017-present/SableIsTraceGasAndPM2018-IleSableGazTracesEtPM2018.csv
