Ontario deadstock operators and facilities

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, in consultation with stakeholders, have developed regulations for the disposal of deadstock (dead farm animals) in Ontario. The regulations provide more disposal options for livestock producers and meat plant operators, with measures to protect the environment.
