Canadian Beaufort Sea - Marine Ecosystem Assessment (CBS-MEA) Stations 2017-2019

Canadian Beaufort Sea - Marine Ecosystem Assessment (CBS-MEA) Stations 2017-2019 Between 2017 and 2019, Fisheries and Oceans Canada conducted a baseline survey of marine fishes and their habitats on the Canadian Beaufort Shelf and slope in August and early September each year. Sampling was conducted from the F/V Frosti at 144 stations along nine multi-year transects, and 32 non-transect stations. Standardized sampling was conducted at pre-determined depth stations (20-40, 75, 200, 350, 500, 750, and 1000 m) using a variety of sampling equipment including benthic fishing trawls, plankton nets, sediment cores, and CTD and water sample profiles. Presented here is the information on the sampling locations, and the sampling gear deployed at each station. 2023-07-11 Fisheries and Oceans Canada kevin.jacobs@dfo-mpo.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyBeam TrawlsField SurveysMyoxocephalus spPleuronectidaeAnimal Ecology and BehaviorAnimals/InvertebratesArthropodsAmphipodsCopepodsDecapodsEuphausiids (krill)IsopodsMysidsOstracodsHexapodsHydrozoansEchinodermsBrittle/Basket StarsSea StarsSea UrchinsEntoproctsLamp ShellsMollusksBivalvesClamsMusselsCephalopodsSquidsChitonsGastropodsPeanut WormsRibbon WormsRoundwormsSegmented Worms (annelids)Bristle WormsLeechesSpongesTunicatesLarvaceansSea SquirtsAnimals/VertebratesFishLampreys/HagfishesRay-finned FishesAnchovies/HerringsCods/HaddocksFloundersPerch-like FishesSalmons/TroutsSharks/Rays/ChimaerasForaminifersPLANKTONAquatic EcosystemsBenthic HabitatDemersal HabitatMarine HabitatPelagic HabitatPlanktonZooplanktonCommunity StructureFood-web DynamicsPrimary ProductionBENTHICOceansAquatic SciencesOcean TemperatureWater TemperatureConductivityConductivity; Temperature; DepthTEMPERATURE LOGGERSNISKIN BOTTLESPLANKTON NETSTrawlActinopterygiiAmblyraja radiataAnnelidaArtediellus atlanticusArthropodaBrachiopodaChionoecetes opilioCiona intestinalisClupeidaeClupeiformesCnidariaCottidaeCyclopteridaeCyclopterus lumpusEchinodermataGadidaeGadiformesGadus ogacGlyptocephalus cynoglossusHyas coarctatusIcelus spatulaMallotus villosusMolluscaMyoxocephalus quadricornisOsmeridaeOsmeriformesPerciformesPetromyzontidaePetromyzontiformesPleurogonaPleuronectiformesPoriferaRajiformesScorpaeniformesSqualiformesArctic ecosystemsArcticBiologyCollaborative researchBiological diversityEcosystemsIchthyologyEnvironmentNorthern CanadaMarine biologyAnimal populationsOceanographyOffshore areaResearchScientific researchZoologyAquatic animalsAquatic ecosystemsAquatic wildlifeArctic OceanBeaufort Sea Canadian Beaufort Sea - Marine Ecosystem Assessment (CBS-MEA) Stations 2017-2019ESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Canadian_Beaufort_Sea_Marine_Ecosystem_Assessment_Stations_2017_to_2019/MapServer Canadian Beaufort Sea - Marine Ecosystem Assessment (CBS-MEA) Stations 2017-2019ESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Canadian_Beaufort_Sea_Marine_Ecosystem_Assessment_Stations_2017_to_2019/MapServer Data DictionaryPDF https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Canadian_Beaufort_Sea_Marine_Ecosystem_Assessment_Stations _2017_to_2019/DataDictionarySampling_CBS-MEA_20200526.pdf Canadian Beaufort Sea - Marine Ecosystem Assessment (CBS-MEA) Stations 2017-2019CSV https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Canadian_Beaufort_Sea_Marine_Ecosystem_Assessment_Stations _2017_to_2019/CBS-MEA_Stations_Sampling_2017-2019.csv
