Regional Deterministic Precipitation Analysis

Regional Deterministic Precipitation Analysis The Regional Deterministic Precipitation Analysis (RDPA) produces a best estimate of the amount of precipitation that occurred over recent past periods of 6 or 24 hours. The estimate integrates data from in situ precipitation gauge measurements, weather radar, satellite imagery and numerical weather prediction models. Geographic coverage is North America (Canada, United States and Mexico). Data is available at horizontal resolution of 10 km. Data is only available for the surface level. Analysis data is made available four times a day for 6h intervals and twice a day for the 24h interval. A preliminary estimate is available approximately 1h after the end of the accumulation period, and revised 7h after in order to assimilate gauge data arriving later. 2024-04-04 Environment and Climate Change Canada ECWeather-Meteo@ec.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyQuantity of precipitationAtmosphereInternationalWeather and ClimatePrecipitationMeteorological dataForecastingMeasurementRadarSatellite imageryProvide Weather Information Products and ServicesDeliver Weather Products and Services to ClientsMeteorological Service of CanadaWeather and Environmental Operations OGC API - CoveragesGRIB2 https://api.weather.gc.ca/collections/weather:rdpa:10km:6f OGC API - CoveragesGRIB2 https://api.meteo.gc.ca/collections/weather:rdpa:10km:6f MSC DatamartGRIB2 https://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_rdpa/ MSC DatamartGRIB2 https://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_rdpa/ MSC Datamart AMQPGRIB2 amqps://dd.weather.gc.ca/model_rdpa.# MSC Datamart AMQPGRIB2 amqps://dd.meteo.gc.ca/model_rdpa.# RDPA.24F - Quantity of precipitation over a 24h hour interval [mm] [10 km] (archive)WMS https://geo.weather.gc.ca/geomet?lang=en&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities&layers=RDPA_10km_Precip-Accum24h RDPA.24F - Quantity of precipitation over a 24h hour interval [mm] [10 km] (archive)WMS https://geo.meteo.gc.ca/geomet?lang=fr&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities&layers=RDPA_10km_Precip-Accum24h Climate Data Extraction ToolHTML https://climate-change.canada.ca/climate-data/#/regional-deterministic-precipitation-analysis Climate Data Extraction ToolHTML https://changements-climatiques.canada.ca/donnees-climatiques/#/analyse-regionale-deterministe-precipitation CollaborationGRIB2 https://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/science/outgoing/capa.grib/ MSC Open Data documentationHTML https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdpa/readme_rdpa_en/ MSC Open Data documentationHTML https://eccc-msc.github.io/open-data/msc-data/nwp_rdpa/readme_rdpa_fr/ Climate Data ViewerHTML https://climate-viewer.canada.ca/climate-maps.html Climate Data ViewerHTML https://visualiseur-climatique.canada.ca/cartes-climatiques.html
