This dataset, based on the Volume 3 of the Public Accounts, presents (in dollars), by ministry, details for Losses of public property, Losses of revenue due to fraud or willful misrepresentation, and Losses of public money due to an offence, illegal act or accident that were discovered or detected during the reported fiscal years. Information on losses of public money and property is required under the Treasury Board directive on losses of money or property.
