Soil Texture by Ecodistrict

Soil Texture by Ecodistrict The National Ecological Framework for Canada's "Soil Texture by Ecodistrict” dataset contains tables that provide soil texture information within the ecodistrict framework polygon. It provides soil texture codes and their English and French language descriptions as well as the percentage of the polygon that the component occupies. Soil texture indicates the relative proportions of the various soil separates (sand, silt, clay) as described by classes of texture. Soil separates are mineral particles, 2.0 mm in diameter and include: gravel 0.2 -7.5 cm and cobbles 7.5-25.0 cm. There are 12 texture group classes definitions and one class definition for Not Applicable (which indicates, for example, water, ice or urban areas). 2023-02-23 Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada infocansis@AGR.GC.CA Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyTerrestrial ecosystemsEcologyEnvironment Data Product Specification (English)PDF https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/supportdocument_documentdesupport/en/ISO_19131_National_Ecological_Framework_for_Canada_Data_Product_Specification.pdf Data Product Specification (French)PDF https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/supportdocument_documentdesupport/fr/Cadre_ecologique_national_pour_le_Canada_ISO_19131.pdf Pre-packaged FGDB filesFGDB/GDB https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/data_donnees/fgdb/ed/nef_ecodist_soil_texture.gdb.zip Pre-packaged GeoJSON filesGEOJSON https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/data_donnees/nationalEcologicalFramework/data_donnees/geoJSON/ed/nef_ecodist_soil_texture.geojson Soil Texture by EcodistrictESRI REST https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/rest/services/mapservices/aafc_national_ecological_framework_of_canada/MapServer/10 Soil Texture by EcodistrictESRI REST https://agriculture.canada.ca/atlas/rest/services/servicesdecarte/aac_cadre_ecologique_national_pour_le_canada/MapServer/10
