Delta water extent (remote sensing) - Wood Buffalo National Park

Delta water extent (remote sensing) - Wood Buffalo National Park The Peace-Athabasca Delta (PAD) is a huge wetland complex which provides important habitat for wildlife and migrating waterfowl. Remote sensing provides a way to monitor this large and remote area. A combination of optical and radar (Radarsat) satellite imagery is used along with ground truthing to map the extent of surface water, and the associated vegetation in the PAD each spring. 2024-05-15 Parks Canada Rhona.Kindopp@pc.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentWater extentpercent inundatedfloodingsatellite imageryPeace-Athabasca Delta Delta water extent (remote sensing)CSV https://open.canada.ca/data/dataset/0db57c16-b1b4-479d-a3e2-a1bb9df844f7/resource/0fa0137e-a8ed-4791-bf3b-98d584e6ef33/download/woodbuffalo_np_peaceathabascawaterextent_1996-2015.csv Delta water extent (remote sensing) - Data DictionaryCSV https://open.canada.ca/data/dataset/0db57c16-b1b4-479d-a3e2-a1bb9df844f7/resource/3feaf662-7f16-47ee-bffa-b05e307711e2/download/woodbuffalo_np_peaceathabascawaterextent_1996-2015_data_dictionary.csv
