Monthly average number of Canada Pension Plan (CPP) disability benefits by province, gender, and calendar year
The Canada Pension Plan (CPP) disability benefit is a monthly payment made to eligible CPP contributors who are unable to work regularly at any job because of a severe and prolonged disability. This dataset provides information on the monthly average number of recipients of CPP disability benefit during a calendar year, from 2010 to 2023. Data are disaggregated by province and gender. Benefits paid under international agreements on social security are not included.
