Beaufort Sea Marine Fishes Project (BSMFP) 2014 - Sampling Stations

Beaufort Sea Marine Fishes Project (BSMFP) 2014 - Sampling Stations From August 6th to September 9th, 2014, Fisheries and Oceans Canada conducted a baseline survey of marine fishes and their habitats on the Canadian Beaufort Shelf and slope. Sampling was conducted from the F/V Frosti at 56 stations along thirteen transects, with an additional three stations not located on transects. Standardized sampling was conducted on the transects at pre-determined depth stations (20-40, 75, 200, 350, 500, 750, and 1000 m) using a variety of sampling equipment including benthic fishing trawls, plankton nets, sediment cores, and CTD and water sample profiles. Presented here is the information on the sampling locations, and the sampling gear deployed at each station. 2023-07-11 Fisheries and Oceans Canada kevin.jacobs@dfo-mpo.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyBeam TrawlsField SurveysMyoxocephalus spPleuronectidaeAnimal Ecology and BehaviorAnimals/InvertebratesArthropodsAmphipodsCopepodsDecapodsEuphausiids (krill)IsopodsMysidsOstracodsHexapodsHydrozoansSea StarsSea UrchinsEntoproctsLamp ShellsMollusksBivalvesClamsMusselsCephalopodsSquidsChitonsGastropodsPeanut WormsRibbon WormsRoundwormsSegmented Worms (annelids)Bristle WormsLeechesSpongesTunicatesLarvaceansSea SquirtsAnimals/VertebratesFishLampreys/HagfishesRay-finned FishesAnchovies/HerringsCatfishes/MinnowsCods/HaddocksFloundersPerch-like FishesSalmons/TroutsSharks/Rays/ChimaerasForaminifersPLANKTONAquatic EcosystemsBenthic HabitatCoastal HabitatDemersal HabitatMarine HabitatPelagic HabitatPlanktonZooplanktonCommunity StructureFood-web DynamicsPrimary ProductionBENTHICAntarctic OscillationOceansAquatic SciencesAquacultureOcean TemperatureWater TemperatureConductivityConductivity; Temperature; DepthTEMPERATURE LOGGERSNISKIN BOTTLESPLANKTON NETSTrawlActinopterygiiAmblyraja radiataAnnelidaArtediellus atlanticusArthropodaBrachiopodaChionoecetes opilioCiona intestinalisClupeidaeClupeiformesCnidariaCottidaeCyclopteridaeCyclopterus lumpusEchinodermataGadidaeGadiformesGadus ogacGlyptocephalus cynoglossusHyas coarctatusIcelus spatulaMallotus villosusMolluscaMyoxocephalus quadricornisOsmeridaeOsmeriformesPerciformesPetromyzontidaePetromyzontiformesPleurogonaPleuronectiformesPoriferaRajiformesScorpaeniformesSqualiformesAnimal researchAquatic wildlifeAnimal populationsAquatic animalsArctic ecosystemsBiological diversityBiologyCollaborative researchIchthyologyNorthern CanadaOceanographyOffshore areaMarine biologyScientific researchZoologyArctic OceanBeaufort Sea Data DictionaryPDF https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/BSMFP/DataDictionary_DictionnaireDonnees-Stations.pdf Beaufort Sea Marine Fishes Project (BSMFP) 2014 - Sampling StationsCSV https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/BSMFP/BSMFP_2014/BSMFP_2014_SamplingStations.csv Beaufort Sea Marine Fishes Project (BSMFP) 2014 - Sampling StationsESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/BSMFP_2014_Sampling_Stations/MapServer Beaufort Sea Marine Fishes Project (BSMFP) 2014 - Sampling StationsESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/BSMFP_2014_Sampling_Stations/MapServer
