Speckled Dace Critical Habitat Survey Data

Speckled Dace Critical Habitat Survey Data Speckled Dace (Rhinichthys osculus) are listed under the Species at Risk Act (SARA) as endangered. These fresh water fish, of the family Cyprinidae, are found in Canada only in the Kettle Valley of British Columbia. Proposed critical habitat was based on minimum viable population analysis and assumed densities of fish. From October 19th to the 22nd of 2015, night time pole seining surveys were conducted to enumerate Speckled Dace in proposed critical habitat on the West Kettle River; one of three rivers containing Speckled Dace. The estimated population abundance of Speckled Dace within the survey area was 8,978 (6,143-11,814), however only 1,014 of these are estimated to be adults. 2023-07-11 Fisheries and Oceans Canada Sean.MacConnachie@dfo-mpo.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologySpecies at Risk ActSARASpeckled DaceRhinichthys osculusPacificBritish ColumbiaScientific researchScientific informationFish Speckled Dace Critical Habitat Survey DataCSV https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Speckled_Dace_Critical_Habitat_Survey/SpeckledDaceCHS.csv ReferencesPDF https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Speckled_Dace_West_Kettle_River_Survey_Locations/References_EN_FR_SD_Critical_Habitat_Survey_Data.pdf Speckled Dace Critical Habitat Survey DataCSV https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Speckled_Dace_Critical_Habitat_Survey/SpeckledDaceCHS_FR.csv Data DictionaryHTML https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Speckled_Dace_Critical_Habitat_Survey/Data_dictionary_EN_FR_SpeckledDaceCHS.htm Speckled Dace West Kettle River Survey LocationsESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Speckled_Dace_West_Kettle_River_Survey_Locations/MapServer/0 Speckled Dace West Kettle River Survey LocationsESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Speckled_Dace_West_Kettle_River_Survey_Locations/MapServer/1
