Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021)

Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) A geographic shape file of Nova Scotia’s Functional Economic Regions based on the 2021 census data. The most widely accepted approach to identifying functional economic regions is based on self-contained labour areas (SLAs) - a group of two or more Census Subdivisions (CSDs) where at least 75% of the workers both live and work in the area. Using Census data, Statistics Canada has identified Census Subdivisions (CSDs) that can be grouped together into SLAs based on daily commuting flows. The Office of Planning and Priorities has mapped these areas and created a GIS shape file that is intended to represent Nova Scotia’s functional economic regions. 2024-08-21 Government of Nova Scotia Economics and Industryeconomic developmentregional developmentindustrybusinessferfunctional economic regionsinclusive economic developmentGovernment information Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (CSV)CSV https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.csv?accessType=DOWNLOAD Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (CSV Excel)CSV https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.csv?accessType=DOWNLOAD&bom=true&format=true Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (CSV Excel (EU))CSV https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.csv?accessType=DOWNLOAD&bom=true&format=true&delimiter=%3B CSD to SLA - related docs file.csvCSV https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/files/8084c90d-cac2-4fda-b28e-9149b8024f0e?download=true&filename=CSD_to_SLA%20-%20related%20docs%20file.csv Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (Geojson)GEOJSON https://data.novascotia.ca/api/geospatial/p3ve-n8ge?method=export&format=GeoJSON Nova Scotia original metadata (https://data.novascotia.ca)HTML https://data.novascotia.ca/datasets/p3ve-n8ge Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) - Advanced ViewHTML https://data.novascotia.ca/datasets/jk9s-dhfu Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (KML)KML https://data.novascotia.ca/api/geospatial/p3ve-n8ge?method=export&format=KML Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (KMZ)KMZ https://data.novascotia.ca/api/geospatial/p3ve-n8ge?method=export&format=KMZ Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (RSS)RSS https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.rss?accessType=DOWNLOAD Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (Shapefile)SHP https://data.novascotia.ca/api/geospatial/p3ve-n8ge?method=export&format=Shapefile Data Dictionary 2021 Boundary File NS Functional Economic Regions.xlsxXLS https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/files/8fda2744-ec3c-44e4-b174-bf0f899598db?download=true&filename=Data%20Dictionary%202021%20Boundary%20File%20NS%20Functional%20Economic%20Regions.xlsx Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (XML)XML https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.xml?accessType=DOWNLOAD Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (TSV)other https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.tsv?accessType=DOWNLOAD&bom=true&format=true&delimiter=%3B Boundary File of Nova Scotia’s Self-contained Labour Areas (2021) (RDF)other https://data.novascotia.ca/api/views/p3ve-n8ge/rows.rdf?accessType=DOWNLOAD
