Public shore

Public shore Linear data representing the interpretation of accessible shores of public property (municipal or governmental) in the agglomeration of Montreal carried out using the land roll. This data is approximate and does not determine the actual shoreline within the meaning of the [Shoreline, Coastal and Floodplain Protection Policy] (http://www.mddelcc.gouv.qc.ca/eau/rives/). Accessibility can be by land and/or water and there may or may not be development. The shores of inland waterways are not included, with the exception of the Lachine and Aqueduct canals. Although it has evolved, thanks to the expansion of shoreline parks, among other things, this data was initially produced for the calculation of an indicator of the state of the environment in the first strategic sustainable development plan of the Montreal community.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2024-04-04 Government and Municipalities of Québec donneesouvertes@montreal.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Accessible public shoreGEOJSON https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/4bbda8ce-2e53-427c-b7c2-1796e3ab38a2/resource/473df7a0-7fd3-4f33-afae-03b21c1d7f40/download/rivespubliquesaccessibles.geojson Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/4bbda8ce-2e53-427c-b7c2-1796e3ab38a2 Accessible public shoreKMZ https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/4bbda8ce-2e53-427c-b7c2-1796e3ab38a2/resource/647a538f-d23e-4b72-82bb-2867be6370fb/download/rivepubliquemtl.kmz Accessible public shoreSHP https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/4bbda8ce-2e53-427c-b7c2-1796e3ab38a2/resource/4b5ded1e-c8fc-4436-9de4-1a2ac8623781/download/rivepubliquemtl.zip
