Principal Minerals

Principal Minerals Contained within the 3rd Edition (1957) of the Atlas of Canada is a plate that shows 20 different maps of principal minerals across Canada, circa 1955. The maps were compiled from information supplied by the Mines Branch of the Department of Mines and Technical Surveys. Usually, the principal occurrences have been indicated but where these are very numerous only the areas in commercial production are shown. It should, therefore, be noted that not all of the principal occurrences are actually mined. 2022-03-14 Natural Resources Canada geoinfo@nrcan.gc.ca Economics and IndustryForm DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technologyearth sciencesgeological mapsgeologymineralsmining industryprimary industry Download the English JPG through HTTPJPG https://ftp.geogratis.gc.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/raster/atlas_3_ed/eng/economic/resourceindustries/017.jpg Download the English PDF through HTTPPDF https://ftp.geogratis.gc.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/raster/atlas_3_ed/eng/economic/resourceindustries/017.pdf Download the French JPG through HTTPJPG https://ftp.geogratis.gc.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/raster/atlas_3_ed/fra/economic/resourceindustries/017.jpg Download the French PDF through HTTPPDF https://ftp.geogratis.gc.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/raster/atlas_3_ed/fra/economic/resourceindustries/017.pdf
