Percentage of maritime key fleets that are serviceable to meet training and readiness requirements
The Departmental Results Framework (DRF) is the strategic view of Defence’s mandate, displaying its Core Responsibilities and key performance information. It represents the corporate framework used to demonstrate plans, achievements, expenditures and performance results. This helps Canadians and parliamentarians understand what we do, what we seek to achieve, and how we will determine if we have achieved it.
This dataset presents the DRF 2.2 entitled “Military equipment is ready for training and operations” and its 2.2.1 indicator entitled “ % of maritime key fleets that are serviceable to meet training and readiness requirements”. This indicator shows the extent to which the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) maritime key fleets are in a mechanical state of readiness to be used (serviceable) for assigned missions. It presents the targets to be achieved each fiscal for the indicator as well as the results showing whether or not it was achieved.
