Mosaic of aerial orthophotographs from the ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec

Mosaic of aerial orthophotographs from the ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec The orthophotographs used to produce this mosaic are acquired by aerial overview in order to meet the needs of the Southern Quebec Ecoforest Inventory (IEQM). These images serve, among other things, to feed the process of photo-interpretation and production of the ecoforest map essential for sustainable forest management. This mosaic is the result of an assembly of orthophotographs produced between 2002 and 2020. Each image has been positioned geographically taking into account the effect of the relief. The spatial resolution varies from 20 to 30 cm. The type of images acquired varies: black and white, infrared or natural (red, green and blue colors). The images used to produce the mosaic are acquired in a cycle of about 10 years. This cycle is synchronized with the IEQM calendar. This mosaic covers almost the entire territory south of the 52nd parallel of Quebec's public forest. Territories acquired through partnerships were excluded. The orthophotography mosaic is accessible for visualization only using the web mapping service. It can be superimposed transparently on the topographic layers of the LiDAR in order to contribute to a better analysis of the territory.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2024-04-04 Government and Municipalities of Québec renseignements@mrnf.gouv.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Open forestHTML https://www.foretouverte.gouv.qc.ca/?context=_carte_forestiere&zoom=6¢er=-68.61954,49.27223&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=59b038b6c0fade3468f54033eabcbec7,cd47428c79d2020773955d3f2f50c2ad,3a658f9801cc56381f90b875d97a9d45,366e2da137d21254a2f89db8f11197e1,1da64ddfeaf23710b8a9ad95133fb5d8 Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/98e6ddb5-e933-4145-aa76-6db89e9372cf Procedures for adding a web servicePDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/Procedure_service_Web.pdf Calendar for the acquisition of aerial photographs from the 5th inventoryPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/acquisition_photo_5e.pdf MetadataSHP https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/IMAGERIE/Mosaique_orthophotos/index_inventaire_ecoforestier.zip Metadata indexWFS https://servicesvectoriels.atlas.gouv.qc.ca/IDS_INDEX_INVENTAIRE_ECOFORESTIER_HISTORIQUE_WFS/service.svc/get?request=GetCapabilities&service=WFS Metadata indexWMS https://servicesvectoriels.atlas.gouv.qc.ca/IDS_INVENTAIRE_ECOFORESTIER_WMS/service.svc/get?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=Index_Inventaire_Ecoforestier_Continue&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/plain Metadata indexWMS https://servicesvectoriels.atlas.gouv.qc.ca/IDS_INVENTAIRE_ECOFORESTIER_WMS/service.svc/get?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=Index_Inventaire_Ecoforestier_Continue&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/plain Mosaic of aerial orthophotographs from the ecoforest inventoryWMTS https://servicesmatriciels.mern.gouv.qc.ca/erdas-iws/ogc/wmts/Inventaire_Ecoforestier?request=GetCapabilities&version=1.3.0&service=WMTS
