Thickness of Quaternary and Neogene Sediments in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor (GIS data, ASCII grid format)

Thickness of Quaternary and Neogene Sediments in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor (GIS data, ASCII grid format) This GIS dataset depicts the drift thickness in the Edmonton-Calgary corridor based on water-well litholog data and bedrock outcrop locations. We used well data from an internal Edmonton-Calgary corridor geological mapping database. This thickness map was generated to assist in building a geological model for the region. The sediment thickness was generated by subtracting the bedrock topography surface from the 60 m Shuttle Radar Topography Mission v. 2 digital elevation model. 2024-05-02 Government of Alberta AGS-Info@aer.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology82O82P83A83B83G83HALBERTACALGARYCANADADRIFT-THICKNESSEDMONTONEDMONTON-CALGARY-CORRIDORGEOLOGYGEOSCIENTIFICINFORMATIONGIS-DATAQUATERNARYSEDIMENT-THICKNESSGovernment information Thickness of Quaternary and Neogene Sediments in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor (GIS data, ASCII grid format) - (HTML)HTML https://geodiscover.alberta.ca/geoportal/rest/metadata/item/7fe246f381224938b5e6d6a05bcc39b7/html Original metadata (https://open.alberta.ca/opendata)HTML https://open.alberta.ca/opendata/a4eb7545-bf73-4fd1-a82b-d4bddfa53e17 Thickness of Quaternary and Neogene Sediments in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor (GIS data, ASCII grid format) - (XML)XML https://geodiscover.alberta.ca/geoportal/rest/metadata/item/7fe246f381224938b5e6d6a05bcc39b7/xml SHP (From Alberta Geodiscorver Portal metadata)ZIP https://static.ags.aer.ca/files/document/DIG/DIG_2010_0038.zip
