Assessing the health of wild yellow perch populations from the St. Lawrence River

Assessing the health of wild yellow perch populations from the St. Lawrence River This study aimed to better understand in situ cumulative effects of anthropogenic stressors on the health of St. Lawrence River (QC, Canada) yellow perch (Perca flavescens) populations using high-throughput transcriptomics and a multi-biological level approach. Fish were collected in the upstream fluvial Lake Saint-François (LSF) with low degree of environmental perturbations; Lake Saint-Louis (LSL) considered having a moderate degree of anthropogenic stressors, and Lake Saint-Pierre (LSP) a sector where the perch population has been severely declining. 2021-07-29 Environment and Climate Change Canada open-ouvert@tbs-sct.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentSt. Lawrence RiverLake Saint-PierreLake Saint-LouisLake Saint-FrancoisYellow perch (Perca flavescens)RNA-sequencingGenomics R&D Initiative (GRDI)Strategic Technology Applications of Genomicsin the Environment (STAGE)St. Lawrence Action Plan (SLAP)EnvironmentBiotaWater - Quality STAGE_YellowPerchRNA_EN_FR.csvCSV https://data-donnees.ec.gc.ca/data/substances/monitor/assessing-the-health-of-wild-yellow-perch-populations-from-the-st.-lawrence-river/STAGE_YellowPerchRNA_EN_FR.csv Scientific Publication - RNA-sequencing to assess the health of wild yellow perch (Perca flavescens) populations from theSt. Lawrence River, CanadaHTML https://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.envpol.2018.09.133 View ECCC Data Mart (English)HTML https://data-donnees.ec.gc.ca/data/substances/monitor/assessing-the-health-of-wild-yellow-perch-populations-from-the-st.-lawrence-river/ View ECCC Data Mart (French)HTML https://data-donnees.ec.gc.ca/data/substances/monitor/assessing-the-health-of-wild-yellow-perch-populations-from-the-st.-lawrence-river/?lang=fr
