Eligible product lists for Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump in Quebec and Nova Scotia under the Canada Greener Homes Grant
Approved list of the eligible Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump models for the Canada Greener Homes Grant - for residents of Quebec and Nova Scotia only.
In response to a high level of interest in the Canada Greener Homes Grant initiative we are seeking to ensure equipment model lists used by the program are up to date and include all equipment models meeting current program criteria. Eligible model lists are scheduled for near term updates the week of November 16 2021 and last week of January 2022 respectively. The November 2021 update will be a ‘refresh’ and will add equipment models that have already qualified since the program launch in May 2021. Another update to address recently qualified models will be made in late January 2022.
Once this ‘refresh’ is completed, regular semi-annual updates will follow starting in 2022 and will occur in June and December on an annual basis. All updates will be made to ensure homeowners have access to rebates for all equipment models available that meet program performance criteria. These updates also serve to recognize innovation and advancements made by manufacturers as they improve technology performance for new models. All eligible model lists will be published in an online searchable format, linked from the Canada Greener Homes Grant initiative’s website.
