Up-to-date ecoforest map

Up-to-date ecoforest map __The link: *Access the data directory* is available in the section*Dataset Description Sheets; Additional Information*__. The updated ecoforest map (formerly “with disturbances”) is the result of the interpretation of aerial photographs and control points in the field as part of the ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec. This mapping presents the various forest and ecological characteristics of the forest territory and corresponds to the portrait of the forest up to the year in which the aerial photograph was taken (mapping cycle of about 10 years). Next, the outlines and nature of recent disturbances (forest interventions, fires and other disturbances) are then integrated annually. The fifth mapping cycle has been under way since 2015. This map covers almost all of the territory south of the 52nd parallel of Quebec's public and private forest. It is distributed by map sheet at a scale of 1/250,000. The minimum mapping area is 4 ha for stands and 0.1 ha for disturbances. __Note 1__: The disturbance maps used to update the updated ecoforest map are also distributed separately on Data Quebec. Here is the list of these maps: + [Forest fires] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/feux-de-foret) + [Harvesting and other silvicultural interventions] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/recolte-et-reboisement) + [Epidemics, windfalls and ice storms] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/epidemies-chablis-et-verglas) + [Forest infrastructures] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/infrastructures-en-milieu-forestier) () __Note 2__: Disturbances are prioritized according to the nature of the layer and respect for the chronology of events. Only the last original or partial disturbance is kept in the updated ecoforest map. You should refer to the annual update layers, listed in __Note 1__, to have access to the full history of disturbances.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2024-09-27 Government and Municipalities of Québec renseignements@mrnf.gouv.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Download links per sheet 1/250,000CSV https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/Csv/Pee_maj.csv Download links — AgenciesCSV https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite\Foret\DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/AGENCES/csv/URL.csv Provincial updated ecoforest mapFGDB/GDB https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/CARTE_ECO_MAJ_PROV_10_GDB.zip Updated ecoforest map - Breakdown by AgenciesFGDB/GDB https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/AGENCES/ Provincial updated ecoforest mapGPKG https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/CARTE_ECO_MAJ_PROV_GPKG.zip Open forestHTML https://www.foretouverte.gouv.qc.ca/?context=_telechargement&zoom=6¢er=-67.99891,48.9935&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=634387214b14c87b4f78d72d2717829f,1da64ddfeaf23710b8a9ad95133fb5d8 Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/baad3bb6-5879-4e34-a4a6-a43212706cb7 Availability of the 5th inventory ecoforest mapPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/5e-disponibilite.pdf Procedures for using a web servicePDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/Procedure_service_Web.pdf READ MEPDF https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/1-Documentation/LISEZ-MOI_carte-eco-maj.pdf Mapping the 5th ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec - Associated methods and dataPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/carto_5E_methodes_donnees.pdf Data downloadPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/Telechargement_rapide.pdf Years of acquisition of aerial photographs from the 5th inventoryPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/acquisition_photo_5e.pdf Download links per sheet 1/250,000SHP https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/Shp/Pee_maj.zip Download links — AgenciesSHP https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/AGENCES/shp/URL.zip Fact sheet of attributes and their areas of valueXLS https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/1-Documentation/DICTIONNAIRE_CARTE_ECO_MAJ.xlsx Fact sheet of attributes and their areas of valueXLS https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Cartes_ecoforestieres_perturbations/1-Documentation/DICTIONNAIRE_COUCHES_ANNUELLES.xlsx Tools and guides for preparing data in ArcGISZIP https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/DONNEES_FOR_ECO_SUD/Resultats_inventaire_et_carte_ecofor/1-Documentation/Boite_a_outils.zip Web mapping serviceother https://geoegl.msp.gouv.qc.ca/ws/mffpecofor.fcgi?
