Canada's National Earthquake Scenario Catalogue - Georgia Strait Fault - Magnitude 7.0

Canada's National Earthquake Scenario Catalogue - Georgia Strait Fault - Magnitude 7.0 Georgia Strait Rupture Scenario using the 1997 Georgia Strait earthquake hypocentre and fault plane geometry from Cassidy, Rogers, & Waldhauser (2000, BSSA). These scenarios use a mapped crustal marine fault near Vancouver, but consider larger magnitude events than those that have been observed to date for that location. Maximum magnitude (7.5) is obtained from CanSHM6 for PUGET SOUND SHALLOW. 2022-07-29 Natural Resources Canada nicky.hastings@nrcan-rncan.gc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyGeological mapsEarth sciencesEarthquakesEmergency preparedness GitHub RepositoryHTML https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios Geological Survey of Canada Open FilePDF https://ftp.maps.canada.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/publications/STPublications_PublicationsST/328/328364/gid_328364.pdf Data DictionaryXLSX https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios/releases/download/v1.1.0/dsra_attributes_fr.xlsx Data DictionaryXLSX https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios/releases/download/v1.1.0/dsra_attributes_en.xlsx Georgia Strait Fault - Magnitude 7.0 (Points)GPKG https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios/releases/download/v1.1.0/dsra_acm7p0_georgiastraitfault_indicators_b.zip Georgia Strait Fault - Magnitude 7.0 (Polygons)GPKG https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios/releases/download/v1.1.0/dsra_acm7p0_georgiastraitfault_indicators_s.zip Georgia Strait Fault - Magnitude 7.0 Shake MapGPKG https://github.com/OpenDRR/earthquake-scenarios/releases/download/v1.1.0/dsra_acm7p0_georgiastraitfault_shakemap.zip Georgia Strait Fault, Magnitude 7.0ESRI REST https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/rest/services/NRCan/dsra_georgia_en/MapServer/0 Georgia Strait Fault, Magnitude 7.0ESRI REST https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/rest/services/NRCan/dsra_georgia_fr/MapServer/0 Georgia Strait Fault, Magnitude 7.0WMS https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/services/NRCan/dsra_georgia_en/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&version=1.3.0 Georgia Strait Fault, Magnitude 7.0WMS https://maps-cartes.services.geo.ca/server_serveur/services/NRCan/dsra_georgia_fr/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&version=1.3.0
