Satellite image mosaics

Satellite image mosaics __The link: *Access the data directory* is available in the section*Dataset Description Sheets; Additional Information*__. Satellite image mosaics are products designed by combining several adjacent tiles of satellite images from the Landsat or Sentinel sensor. The coverage of the mosaics varies according to the years of acquisition, ranging from southern Quebec to all of Quebec. These mosaics are designed to identify land use classes, including forest environments, agricultural environments, wetlands, and environments modified by humans. They also offer an overview of the various natural disturbances that occur on the territory. In the end, they offer easy monitoring of the evolution of forest cover and natural disturbances across territory and time. These mosaics are primarily used to support planning, monitoring, and land use planning. The resolution of the mosaics ranges from 10 to 30 meters.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2024-07-24 Government and Municipalities of Québec renseignements@mrnf.gouv.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Download links for satellite mosaics from previous yearsCSV https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/cad5639a-437e-4cc2-adaf-62e4fccbbc30/resource/e2766b4b-4428-4f6b-9644-376bdf5a5d5d/download/mosaiques_satellites.csv Mosaic 2023 Southern Sentinel Winter NIRECW https://diffusion.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/DonneeGratuite/Foret/IMAGERIE/Mosaiques_Satellites/Mosaique_2023/Mosaique_2023_Sentinel_Meridional_Hiver_NIR.zip Open forestHTML https://www.foretouverte.gouv.qc.ca/?context=_nouveaute&zoom=5¢er=-66.16735,54.46027&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=hoverFeatureId,59ae23b88a0f2dd3919e328f0ffd9b3f,1281ec03ed229dfaabba707d62974636,1da64ddfeaf23710b8a9ad95133fb5d8 Open forestHTML https://www.foretouverte.gouv.qc.ca/?context=_telechargement&zoom=5¢er=-63.1569,53.59263&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=634387214b14c87b4f78d72d2717829f,1da64ddfeaf23710b8a9ad95133fb5d8 Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/cad5639a-437e-4cc2-adaf-62e4fccbbc30 Landsat satellite image mosaic interpretation guidePDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/guide-mosaiques-Landsat.pdf Procedures for using a web servicePDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/Procedure_service_Web.pdf Interpretation Guide Quebec Landsat Satellite Image MosaicsPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forest/interpretation-guide-quebec-landsat-satellite-image-mosaics.pdf Sentinel satellite image mosaic interpretation guidePDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/GM_interpretation_mosaiques_Sentinel.pdf Data downloadPDF https://mffp.gouv.qc.ca/documents/forets/inventaire/Telechargement_rapide.pdf Web mapping serviceother https://geoegl.msp.gouv.qc.ca/ws/mffpecofor.fcgi?
