Seasonal temperature climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone (1980-2010)

Seasonal temperature climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone (1980-2010) Seasonal temperature climatology of the Northeast Pacific Ocean was computed from historical observations including all available conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD), bottle, expendable bathy-thermograph (XBT), and Argo data in NOAA (http://www.argo.ucsd.edu/), Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS), and Institute of Ocean Sciences archives over 1980 to 2010 period. Calculations, including smooth and interpolation, were carried out in sixty-five subregions and up to fifty-two vertical levels from surface to 5000m. Seasonal averages were computed as the median of yearly seasonal values. Spring months were defined as April to June, summer months were defined as July to September, fall months were defined as October to December, and winter months were defined as January to March. The data available here contain raster layers of seasonal temperature climatology for the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), a subset of seasonal climatology of the Northeast Pacific Ocean, in high spatial resolution of 1/300 degree. 2023-07-13 Fisheries and Oceans Canada DFO.PAC.SCI.IOSData-Donnees.ISO.SCI.PAC.MPO@dfo-mpo.gc.ca Nature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyClimatologyTemperatureOceans Canadian Pacific EEZ—Temperature climatology - fall (1.8 GB)FGDB/GDB https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/BCEEZ_Temperature_Climatology/BCEEZ_temperature_climatology_fall_temperature_climatology_lautomne.gdb.zip Canadian Pacific EEZ—Temperature climatology - spring (1.8 GB)FGDB/GDB https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/BCEEZ_Temperature_Climatology/BCEEZ_temperature_climatology_spring_temperature_climatologie_leprintemps.gdb.zip Canadian Pacific EEZ—Temperature climatology - summer (1.8 GB)FGDB/GDB https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/BCEEZ_Temperature_Climatology/BCEEZ_temperature_climatology_summer_temperature_climatologie_lete.gdb.zip Canadian Pacific EEZ—Temperature climatology - winter (1.8 GB)FGDB/GDB https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/BCEEZ_Temperature_Climatology/BCEEZ_temperature_climatology_winter_temperature_climatologie_hiver.gdb.zip Seasonal temperature climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone (1980-2010)ESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Seasonal_Temperature_Climatology_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/MapServer Seasonal temperature climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone (1980-2010)ESRI REST https://gisp.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/arcgis/rest/services/FGP/Seasonal_Temperature_Climatology_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/MapServer Data DictionaryPDF https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/Data_Dictionary_EN_FR_Seasonal_Climatologies_of_the_CPEEZ.pdf ReferencesPDF https://pacgis01.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/FGPPublic/Seasonal_Climatologies_Can_Pacific_EEZ_1980_2010/References_EN_FR_Seasonal_Climatologies_of_the_CPEEZ.pdf
