Road weather station

Road weather station Freeze and thaw depth data in road pavements managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD). Since the winter period 2008-2009, these data have been calculated using temperature measurements recorded by road weather stations spread across the Quebec road network. In particular, these stations are equipped with a 3.0 m long probe that makes it possible to measure the hourly average temperature at various levels in the roadway. Average freeze and thaw depth values are then calculated on a daily basis. The data should be considered to be specific to the location and date of measurement only. Any interpretation of the continuity of measurements in space and time is left to the discretion of the user. It is also important to note that the start and end dates of load restriction periods take into account a combination of factors, including the location of stations on the road network and the spatial representativeness of the measurements.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2023-05-25 Government and Municipalities of Québec geomatique@transports.gouv.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Road weather stationCSV https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wfs&version=2.0.0&request=getfeature&typename=ms:histo_stations_meteoroutieres_tous&outfile=StationMeteoroutiere&outputformat=csv Road weather stationGEOJSON https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wfs&version=2.0.0&request=getfeature&typename=ms:histo_stations_meteoroutieres_tous&outfile=StationMeteoroutiere&srsname=EPSG:4326&outputformat=geojson Road weather stationGPKG http://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/donnees/geomatique/histo_stations_meteoroutieres_tous.gpkg Road weather stationHTML https://geoegl.msp.gouv.qc.ca/igo2/apercu-qc/?context=mtq&visiblelayers=station_meteoroutiere Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/d7941cb1-69a8-4e8e-a117-6c0fd12c2037 Road weather station - Data use guidePDF https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/d7941cb1-69a8-4e8e-a117-6c0fd12c2037/resource/ed0e6233-f828-428b-baaf-05f53e4ca6b1/download/guide-dutilisation2018-05-31.pdf Road weather stationSHP https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wfs&version=2.0.0&request=getfeature&typename=ms:histo_stations_meteoroutieres_tous&outfile=StationMeteoroutiere&srsname=EPSG:4326&outputformat=shp Road weather stationWFS https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wfs&request=getcapabilities Road weather stationWMS https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wms&request=getcapabilities&layers=stations_meteoroutieres&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/plain Road weather stationWMS https://ws.mapserver.transports.gouv.qc.ca/swtq?service=wms&request=getcapabilities&layers=stations_meteoroutieres&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/plain
